GenoMEL's 'Dealing with the Diagnosis of Melanoma' package has been highly commended in the BMA's Patient Information Awards. This is a great compliment to all the patients and GenoMEL members who have been involved in creating this package.
Important new GenoMEL paper
A new GenoMEL paper is available from the website of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute. The article is entitled, "Association of MC1R variants and host phenotypes with melanoma risk in CDKN2A mutation carriers: a GenoMEL study".
New GenoMEL podcast
A new GenoMEL podcast is now available. This podcast contains an interview with Stephen Iball, one of the directors of New Knowledge Directorate (NKD), the SME responsible for realising this website. Stephen talks about GenoMEL, iPhone apps and Blue Peter!
